The Sinus is an all composite 2 seater touring motorglider. It has a 4 strokes 80 hp 912 Rotax. You can use it as a regular airplane. It will cruise 105 knots on 10 liters per hour and has 6 hours of endurance.
With his 15 meters wing span ( 50 feet), it can also be used as a glider. At 50 knots, it has a glide ratio of 28 to 1 and a sink rate of 200 fpm. The propeller feathers for better gliding efficiency. The propeller is also adjustable in flight for optimum cruise speed when using the engine.
The Virus uses the same fuselage with slightly shorter wings (12.4 meters- 40 f. 8 in.) It cruises 120 knots and has a glide ratio of 24 to 1
The short wing Virus ( 10.4 meters- 34 feet ) cruises at 130 knots and has a glide ratio of 20 to 1. It is an advanced ultralight, whereas the Sinus and Virus are motorgliders. To fly a motorglider in Canada, you need a glider pilot licence, while for the ultralight, a ultralight pilot permit.

The Taurus is an all composite 2 seater self launch glider. It uses the same wing as the Sinus. The 503 Rotax engine allows for take off distance of 500 feet and a climb rate of 700 fpm. The engine rotates inside the fuselage allowing complete retraction of the propeller. 2 doors close the engine-propeller compartment. The 2 main wheels are also retractable. Lift is generated by the fuselage shape.
All these caracteristics make the Taurus glide at 41 to 1 at a speed of 60 knots. The minimum sink rate is 150 fpm at 45 knots. Roomy cockpit and tremendous visibility are stantard in the Taurus with its one piece canopy.
The Taurus is available for $130,000 can (taxes not included, price may vary with the euro exchange rate.)
